I am thrilled to report my problem has been solved. They were prompt, sympathetic and didn't charge for a thing. Basically they, reverse engineered the tank, pump, pipe installation. The final answer was a break in part of the 60 feet of pipe going into the well.
No tools, parts, plummers, feelings or pocketbooks were harmed during the process. A lizard was displaced, momentarily, without habitat loss.
I am so thankful for everyone that came to my aid. I woke up to the problem like a chicken without a head. Level heads and great hearts saved the day. I hope someday I am able to repay in kind.
I love DU.
Thank you, everyone.
All the time.

(12,164 posts)pressure tank. We get that a lot with our well. In any case shutting off power to the pump and calling the techs back was the proper thing to do. Glad they were able to fix it pronto.

(22,852 posts)I know I am plum tuckered out after the ordeal. I'm not even going to correct it. We can wait and see if anyone else catches it.
