'Landmark Achievement,' Hallmark Of His Presidency'

President Obama sure took some hits this year from the media and other sly critics who tried to set up this health act court case as the defining moment of this presidency. It's no surprise to find these same pundits and critics of this presidency shifting their argument about the importance of this health care victory for the President (both its passage and it's upholding by the Supreme Court) after the verdict announced today. Now, the 'landmark achievement' is supposedly some weight around his neck.

I still think this is the hallmark of this presidency; whether its a good or bad one in substance or in politics. Its an historical achievement which will stand in time as one of the most significant political advancements in our nation's modern history.

The air is full of balking and prevaricating today, but it will be a long time before any of these dissenters from this presidency and policy manage to advance their own health care solutions through our divisive and divided national legislature. That remarkable achievement goes to the ultimate credit of Barack Obama. A land mark achievement today . . . the hallmark of his presidency.

Congratulations to the President, the Democrats in Congress and, most of all, to the American people.

The Teabaggers and Repukes have shown that they not only do not know the strategy, they don't even know the rules.

It will be a pleasure watching Mitt lose in November while we regain control of the House.
