I Almost agree with Melania here:Last edited Thu Mar 2, 2017, 02:54 PM - Edit history (1)

from the article: Melania Trump talked with patients and their families about “how the gift of nature and the beauties of the outdoors can contribute to the healing process,” according to the hospital.(snip) I do know the healing benefits of nature. Our local hospital, built within the last 10 years, took this into consideration when building and the entire back part of the hospital faces natural space for the patients to enjoy while there. The morning I left there after my gallbladder surgery I watched a deer from my hospital window. And I do know the healing powers of the cannabis plant. I have also seen many moving stories of how it has helped children with seizure disorders. That is straight from nature. BUT... The best thing we can do for the health of children now and in the future is to ensure that they have clean water, a food supply free of the overuse of pesticides and that the air they breathe has the lowest levels of pollution. The choice of her husband for the head of the EPA does not seem to feel any of that is necessary. So, while i think it is nice of Melania to take her time and visit this children's hospital, I hope she can see and understand what her husbands policies are setting up for the children now and in the future.

1. You are quoting the articles recap, not her actual statements,
which aree probably along the lines "I love flowers when I have a Botox bruise" and " I prefer real flowers to the silk dusty flowers that Donald has thrown all over our home and his so-called properties".

2. Yes, I guess the hospital was paraphrasing her.
It can be hard to talk or smile when your skin is full of botox! (but I guess that is a natural substance?)

3. It is, like many other toxins and poisons are naturally occurring substances.
Not that I have a problem with people having responsible Botox. I am rather pissed off at Botox because one can start to develop antibodies against it as I have, so it becomes less and less effective every time you use it.

5. Interesting.
Would that make a person then less susceptible to botulism? Not that that is such a big thing anymore, I guess. But that is an interesting side effect.
(My mom tired this once, someone was offering a "good deal" and she was into her 70s by then. it did sort of obscure the lines around her mouth, but then she looked less like herself!) |

6. I noticed that as well.
Hopefully they took the time to explain that to the kids there!

7. Well honey, I am glad you enjoyed that.
Remember now, that you support daddy in everything and he plans on destroying all of that ( including that sweet deer. ) Many people will never enjoy that if there are some left because they will not have insurance to go in the first flippin place!!
