Remember when Glenn Beck accused Obama of being a racist who hates white people?

How weird would it have sounded if the counter-argument would have been
"President Obama cannot possibly be a racist. He's made photo-ops with white people. He has met white people. He's friends with white people. His cleaning-lady is white! How can such a person possibly be racist?"

Yet, that very same counter-argument is somehow valid when it comes to being racist against African-Americans.
