Trump held an identical campaign event at this airport hangar during the general election in September. According to reports, 15,000 people attempted to attend the September rally, but some were turned away.

I haven't seen anything about counter rallies.

(11,686 posts)He campaigned to the out of work or underpaid white men. Well, having campaign after campaign starts to cost money for his people to go to. When you are out of work sure you have the time to go but the money starts to run out. If you are underpaid you are also more likely overworked so that means both no money and no time. His poor followers are not able to afford to see him time after time. Just a thought.

(9,350 posts)The failing The Hill, which nobody reads (falling subscriber numbers, losing money, not sure they will be around tomorrow) has decided to publish a fake hit piece on Donald Trump. Everybody who is not trying to make excuses for Hillary Clinton's historic landslide loss (which happened to be the largest loss in the history of loses. Donald Trump won the electoral college vote by a margin of 538-0) knows there were more than 2 million people at the hangar. The number would have been even larger if it had not been for the category 5 hurricane that passed through just before Donald Trump began speaking.

MELBOURNE, Fla. - No more tickets are available for President Donald Trump's rally on Saturday in Melbourne.
"There are no more passes available," said Lori Booker, a spokeswoman for Orlando Melbourne International Airport, the location of Trump's 5 p.m. visit.
About 9,000 free passes were made available at noon Wednesday and were gone by early Thursday, Booker said.

I know even more who got tickets and didn't bother going. Not a chance in hell they filled it with all 9,000 if they only gave away 9,000 passes.
