Lack of impulse control is an early sign, as far as I know. He is 70, and his father had it. Add that to his already existing narcissism, and you get a very dangerous infantile person in possession of the nuclear codes.

You may be right about Alzheimer's, but it's on top of his long standing personality disorder(s).

too many times.

A few years back he was relatively lucid. Now he rambles and repeats himself and has no filter. That's one of the first things to go.

indeed be more noticeable than they normally might have been had he started from, say, above-average abilities.

Trump has always had a stunted vocabulary and a poor ability to regulate himself. It is now quite noticeably worse.
