I read today about the extremely racist thing you said about the First Lady of the United States and I just wanted to tell you to go Cheney yourself! I've got news for you. 120 years ago, they said the same vile shit about your great-grandmother. Dark, Catholic, Italians were not the most beloved immigrants by white Protestant Americans.

But you know what really bothers me? It's that you and the other conservative Obama haters can never admit that the Obamas have carried themselves with such grace, dignity, and character in the mists of such overt hatred such as you expressed, while on the other hand, your cry baby president-elect acts like a spoiled 5th grader when anyone dares to criticize him. You and the President Elect will NEVER have the class of President Barack Obama and his amazing wife Michelle.

Disgusting! That this pigfucker (INDEED! Excellent nickname, btw) has a position on a school board?!?!?

However - that's one place where these scheming assholes get started, if they fancy themselves upwardly mobile in politics. Run for some stupid little nothing position like the school board. And then build from there. Maybe in a couple of years you can run for city council. And then after putting in some time there, try a run for Congress. And from there - hey, it's anybody's guess how high you might climb!

Back in the 1970s and 80s, this guy Ralph Reed, of the so-called "Christian Coalition" of political/power avarice, advised his minions that this is the way to take over. Start small. Get in by running for some little nothing political job, and from there, start building your power base, and if you work it shrewdly enough, you can climb the ladder upward. Senator. Governor. Maybe even higher...

The CONS took that advice, starting back then. Wish our Dems did.

So, school board, is it - yeah, I've heard of starting with running for "dog catcher", right? - but for some reason, I have always thought that being on a school board was pretty crucial for the health and well-being of a community and its children, and not a "stupid little nothing position", as you say...man, it hurts to hear that!! (I take no pride in my ignorance/naïveté)

22. Thanks but I should add that you are right about

the "stupid little nothing position" that really is nothing of the sort! I didn't intend to refer to the proverbial school board position as an insignificant job. You're spot on that it's incredibly important. It's about our kids' education and that's where deliberate, purposeful dumbing-down begins. Where the decisions are made that kids don't need Civics class anymore, for example. And that textbooks can be messed with so only certain versions of history are allowed to be taught.

And that's where devious little Ralph Reed decided the seeds of governmental takeovers can and should be planted. Because they're so low-profile and not exactly "sexy" or perceived as potentially powerful and usually easy (or easier) to win. Heck, all too often there may actually even be no opponent. You can start building your own little political power base almost literally under the radar.

Sneaky little shit, that Ralph Reed. Damn effective too, unfortunately. We need more of that kind of sneaky little shit working for OUR side!
