That was the total number of Reagan Administration officials who ended up either investigated, indicted or convicted.
And remember, that was over an eight year period.
I think that Trump is going to beat that number and do it in four years.
Who's with me on this?

(31,516 posts)I guess we could consider the Trump University lawsuit in the total.
A federal judge will hear arguments Friday in San Diego on whether to delay the legal case against Donald Trump in connection with Trump University.
But once Trump becomes president, can he still be subject to civil lawsuits over something he did before he was elected? Would he have to give testimony if the judge ordered it? The answers are clearly yes.

But, hmmm... Trump could be a first.

(12,051 posts)Dems running against assholes like Dave Brat(R) here in VA? They haven't bothered in the last 2 election cycles, even though local Dems were running and using their own money. If local races aren't funded fully (Brat got several million dollars from the national Pubs), then we'll get killed in 2018 as well. And all Dems will know that the Democratic Party is still full of bullshit artists and thoughtless careerists.

(100,069 posts)Just say what the fundamentalists want to hear and that equals job security. No matter what evil shit you're able to get away with on the side. Like look at the governor of Alabama. Yeah he got caught having multiple affairs. But he's got an R next to his name. God forbid that the people of Alabama vote for a democrat. Donald Trump is right about one thing - if you have an R next to your name, you probably could shoot someone on 5th avenue and get away with it.
