And I suspect there's a huge number of like-minded American consumers who would do the same.

So this idea of Trump starting a "network" seems overblown. And some of it comes across as a way to 'normalize' the idea.

It may be early, but I'm coming out to declare my willingness to boycott any cable provider who might carry the writhing, orange maggot.

Yeah, I know a lot of DU'ers have already cut off cable. I still keep basic but in future could personally get along fine using internet connection to watch what appeals to me.

Oh, and NBC will probably be in a world of hurt if they try another round of "Apprentice".

Since broadcast TV has gone digital, it is actually a better picture than what you get with cable's compressed signal.

It has been six years for us and one of our best decisions. But we are not a sports family, so that might cause some to hesitate. My brother is, though and he's doing it with a service called Sling.

Internet delivered, not cable based. Either way, I cannot imagine any true advertisers want to be anywhere near Trump nor his deplorable audience.

depends on whether they go it alone or part of a package.

dish network had trouble with tribune broadcasting this past summer. tribune has a bunch of local stations and was using them as leverage to get bigger $$$$ for wgn america station....

if trump becomes part of an established group such as lets say tribune or espn or fox
the cable cos could be forced to carry it.....guess extortion is only illegal when smaller time crooks do it
