As long as we can avoid anxiety attacks over this, it might work out to our benefit. Sensible people will be panting to get to the polls to keep him from winning.

(11,843 posts)The pollster has no way of proving that you did or didn't. That's a problem with polls, people will say just about anything.

(5,417 posts)Gallup for instance will ask if you voted in the last election but they adjust for age to avoid penalizing younger voters who could not vote in the last election.
Truth be told, a poll of unlikely voters is pretty damn useless.

(30,884 posts)About one quarter of registered voters rarely if ever vote. Polling them is a waste of time unless there is a screener asking about their motivation to vote for the specific election.
