So much to say, about the sleeves rolled up, the sweating in the heat, the actual African American suburbanites who have lost their homes and their jobs, their actual jobs, and the way he embraced the police officers, the governor talking like a friend to people who he clearly knew as they toured the devastated houses.
Finally filling us in on the work that has been going on and he's been guiding, and will continue to guide,, and who Hillary will guide after Trump is just a nasty footnote in this country's history.

(42,019 posts)People need help and support and I hate Vitter too, but if he gets one asshole to part with his money then fine. And no one is going to say he can't be there.

(7,820 posts)There were more than 2 black people in the crowd (that's all I saw in Donnie's background). Obama posed for pictures for people who used their own phones. Donnie, dressed like Thurston Howell III, posed surrounded by National Guardsmen. Our president gave people hugs and talked to them. Donnie passed little boxes to Mike Pence.
Did anyone see people waving political signs behind Obama? The victims that Donnie visited somehow managed to salvage their signs from their flooded out houses...
