Thursday during her The Kelly File program on the Fox News Channel, host Megyn Kelly pointed out that MSNBCs Joe Scarborough and others on his Morning Joe show had once been very complimentary of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and have since changed their tune.
Kelly remarks were in reference to Scarboroughs claim Trump had inquired about using nuclear weapons during a foreign policy briefing.
Even MSNBC and their morning program over there, I mean, they could not have promoted Trump more, Kelly said. And now today, Joe Scarborough is out there talking about how three times in one meeting, [Trump] asked why he couldnt drop a nuclear weapon. Once Trump got mad at him, he stopped saying nice things about him.

(14,855 posts)I still remember her essentially telling Karl Rove to "get over it" when Obama won the Presidency and Rove was acting like it made no sense.

(14,855 posts)I just don't dislike her as much as other shills.
She also contradicted Trump several times with facts, and I think she nearly caused a temper tantrum for him at least once during a GOP debate (when videos were shown).

(14,855 posts)It wouldn't surprise me if she's not pleased with much of her current audience.

(2,169 posts)She is very smart, and I think a fairly nice person, and I don't really think she endorses a lot of what Fox promotes. But she enables their message and that is truly disappointing. Most of the others fall in one or more of the stupid, evil, self serving, hateful, true believers etc. They would be expected to do what they do.

(111,277 posts)about most things. She's right about one thing, Trump is a creation of cable news media. Scarborough (what dead blonde?) was only one of many promoters. Trump has gotten free air time for many months.

The shock should be that she agrees with you. Not the other way around.

He finally spoke up, only this past week, on "Morning Joe," talking about "if we have nukes, why can't we use them?" He described a foreign policy briefing Trump had - "several months ago" - when this came up. SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, Joe???? When did YOU hear about this? How long have YOU known about this? How long have YOU SAT on this and given Trump cover on this?
Frankly, I find it tremendously irritating that a CON deserves a hosting job on MSNBC. Take it over to Pox Noise where it belongs!
