Save yourself some irritation and switch to C-SPAN RIGHT NOW!

No talking heads telling you what is important nor interviewing assholes. Just gavel to gavel coverage of what is being said at the podium. Make up your own mind about what they are saying how they are being received. Simple, clear, a treat!

Picking out known personalities and showing the people with all their crazy outfits. I don't think C-Span does that unless they've changed a lot.

But you do get some of that during the music breaks. They'll give you the occasional tears shot, too. Otoh, it's fun to watch them gloss over people who you know love to be noticed, like Schumer sitting front-and-center last night. The main plus for me, apart from the absence of commentary, is you get to hear all the speakers in their entirety.

Teaching us all the American Sign Language sign for America: two hands intertwined and moving in a circle.

Everyone was amazed and delighted.
