What should be done with Fox News

If James and Lachlan Murdoch were smart they should take Fox News and completely flip the script. Hire the likes of Kieth Olberman, Jon Stewart, Micheal Moore, Lewis Black, and Jimmy Dore, etc. They could revolutionize the news media. Straight news and edgy, funny, left wing commentators.

The audience is all ready there. Imagine if you could concentrate programs like the Daily Show, John Oliver, Samantha Bee, etc. on one station. It would be a ratings bonanza. There's no shortage of left wing talent. They already have no problem airing edgy material like The Simpsons and Married with Children.

Their success was mixing made up news and right wing propaganda with soft core porn. Unfortunately it was a hybrid that worked. Thankfully the demographic that it appeals to is literally dying. But a hybrid of news and entertainment could be good if done right.

There are only so many times you can joke about the lack of journalism on CNN

The Louie Gohmerts and Steve Kings of the world supply an endless amount material to draw from.
