You elect some awesome women! Rep. Katherine Clark and Sen. Elizabeth Warren
As a woman, it is thrilling to see so many women on the floor fighting for our lives. Our party is going to be greatly energized by this protest, and Rep. Clark deserves kudos for coming up with the idea.

It's important to commend then in light of Paul Ryan's supreme assholeishness.

(24,690 posts)It was Rep. Clark who came up with the idea, and of course John Lewis was key to getting it underway. But it would not have been successful without the participation of all the others. WI rocks with three there!
Ryan is assholeish, but we still deeply appreciate WI!

(54,129 posts)It looks like they had some fun with very noble cause. After five years of dealing with obsessive Republican obstructionism, it finally looks like they had a therapeutic moment. I hope that revolutionary energy rolls over into the fall campaign.
This was just Berniesque
