Dick Morris is in talks with Trump and may join his campaign.
Morris and Trump seem a perfect fit to me. Couldn't think of two more ferrety chaps.
But, let's remember how we all first became aware of Mr.Morris. From wikipedia, bold added: A friend and adviser to Bill Clinton during his time as Governor of Arkansas, Morris became a political adviser to the White House after Clinton was elected president in 1992. Morris encouraged Clinton to pursue third way policies of triangulation that combined traditional Republican and Democratic proposals, rhetoric, and issues so as to achieve maximum political gain and popularity. He worked as a Republican strategist before joining the Clinton administration, where he helped Clinton recover from the 1994 midterm elections by advising the President to adopt more moderate policies.[7] The president consulted Morris in secret beginning in 1994.[8] Clinton's communications director George Stephanopoulos has said, "Over the course of the first nine months of 1995, no single person had more power over the president."[9] Morris went on to become campaign manager of Bill Clinton's successful 1996 bid for re-election to the office of President. His tenure on that campaign was cut short two months before the election, when it was revealed that he had allowed a prostitute to listen in on conversations with the President.
Wasn't 1996 the year that so many life-long Democrats started to say----the Party is leaving us?

7. "Couldn't think of two more ferrety chaps."
So true. Morris is a weasel and may last longer than some. After the Clintons broke with him permanently, he took a major, spiteful hate to them. He's brilliant, but always ends up soiling his own nest because he can't hide what he is forever.
Btw, I think that prostitute was sucking his toes, or he was sucking hers. Something like that. Morris has a foot thing. So does Trump, come to think of it; he likes to kick people with his. ![]() |

He was further in the "ROMNEY WILL WIN A LANDSLIDE!" carriage than Karl Rove.

13. Well, Morris's apparently the guy who's fallen so far
he'll take the job no one with prospects will. He and Trump do make a great pair and I wish them both nothing but the inevitable.

10. I don't think the Clintons
…..broke with him because they disagreed with him about much of anything.
It was a strategic break. The "Optics" had become bad. Once he got linked to the prostitute, and considering all of Clinton's sex-scandal problems—they dropped him. Political expediency. Not an ideological split at all. |

15. A number of books cover this era in
the Clintons' lives, some of them even considered honest. Hillary apparently was fooled by Morris and initially brought him in. Remember, this guy rose very high for a while, and he didn't do it by not being very impressive.
As for ideology, Morris is conservative overall, but don't make too much of that. Only narrow-minded fools imagine their "side" knows everything and others know nothing. Morris was very good for a while--until he self destructed. |

Are they trying to repulse every woman on the planet?

14. Some say he is.
They say he feels trapped in what's he's created.
More than Trump though, the real issue here is the entire Republican Party——which is lining up behind him. That's half our government, more or less. We have a serious, serious problem which will only go back underground when Trump implodes. Trump is the truth of something hideous in the country. |
