Today Kristen Lindsey who posted on Facebook about killing a pet cat with an arrow is fighting this week to keep her veterinary license.

AUSTIN, Tx (KXAN) — A Houston veterinarian appears in court this week to address the animal cruelty complaint against her, says Lorris Jones with the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.

Kristen Lindsey is accused of killing a cat with a bow and arrow in 2015 and then bragging about it on Facebook. The social media post shows Lindsey holding up the cat by the arrow she shot it with. Along with the image of the dead cat, Lindsey posted “My first bow kill, LOL.”.

The State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners was in attendance at the court. Critics want the board to pull her veterinary license.

“If I get my license revoked here, there’s a good chance I won’t ever be licensed anywhere,” Lindsey says while taking the stand.

Anyone who shows her total lack of good judgement has no business in veterinary medicine. She didn't see anything wrong with killing the cat and then posting a picture and bragging about it. I guess her parents took the picture.

Later she bragged the she was a wonderful vet and would never lose her job.

Totally clueless. I think she also works with horses 9r some kind of horse operation.

Her actions were appalling and vet's everywhere were horrified by what she had done. The vet school she attended was horrified.

And it wasn't a feral cat at all. It was the neighbor's cat. The whole awful episode just kept getting worse and worse.
