http://fortune.com/2016/04/24/trump-act-like-wife/No, I dont do that, Trump said on the Opie and Anthony show in 2005. Theres a lot of women out there that demand that the husband act like the wife and you know theres a lot of husbands that listen to that Im really like a great father but certain things you do and certain things you dont. Its just not for me.
or really do anything hands-on to care for his kids.
I mean, I wont do anything to take care of them. Ill supply funds and shell take care of the kids. Its not like Im gonna be walking the kids down Central Park, Trump said in a 2005 interview with Howard Stern. Marla used to say, I cant believe youre not walking Tiffany down the street, you know in a carriage. Right, Im gonna be walking down Fifth Avenue with a baby in a carriage. It just didnt work.
Its not just babies that Trump avoids.
In a 2007 interview, Trump told Stern about his relationship with Tiffany, his daughter with Marla Marples. Trump said that Tiffany visits him, You know for about an hour, Hi dad, Hi Tiff, I love you Tiff. Shes a great kid, says Trump, who tells Stern that Tiffanys a smart girlsomething he knows because he glances at her report cards.
Perhaps hes trying to patch things up with Tiffany after his comments on a previous Howard Stern Show?
Speaking to Stern in 2003, Trump said he married Maples because she got pregnant with Tiffany. At the time it was like, Excuse me, what happened? Trump said. And then I said, Well, what are we going to do about this?'
Way to widen that gender gap, King Combover!

I'm sure if Trump could underpay somebody to wipe his ass he would.
Trump does not actually have enough money to pay me whatnot would take for me to wipe his ass. Any amount would be an underpayment.
Yuck!

(1,662 posts)But he is such a lazy taker and exploiter that I'm sure he would do it.
He's never worked a hard day in his life and pays everybody else to do everything for him.
He is only rich thanks to exploitation.

of people in the wildest scenario who could possibly vote for him.

(43,182 posts)They hate anything they think de-masculinizes men (hence their constant obsession with "cucks"--supposedly weak men whose wives cheat on them), and apparently taking too keen an interest in their kid's raising is a no-no in their eyes.

(39,215 posts)wives now are working jobs - one at night and the other during the day - and they are taking care of their children and the household during the times the other is working.
Wake up these are the kinds of things that the rich, including Hillary have no idea about.

(15,139 posts)him down much, and there are, no doubt, many voters who agree with Trump that at home there are or should be defined male and female roles. A large chunk of the country doesn't necessarily see things the way we do. If they did, Trump would have had to drop out long ago from lack of voter interest.

(56,828 posts)and, those are the ones that vote in primaries. However, given that he's only a little above water with Republican women - not just women in general - I think it's a huge problem for him. Trump probably thinks by having Mary Fallin or Susanna Martinez as VP will take care of it, though. But, I doubt it.

(15,139 posts)he'd go with some bland little known R congressman from a swing state. He doesn't like to share the spotlight or do anything to draw attention away from himself.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)he already mentioned Mary Fallin as a possibility. I just think a lot of Republicans - Trump included - think that just having a woman on the ticket partially erases the GOP problem with women, policies be damned.

I have cooked for them (they got a big kick out of that), changed diapers, and the youngest (2.5 years) comes to me when it is time to comb or blow dry her hair. She is pappy's little girl. Trump is an idiot. A real parent or grandparent does what is needed for the kids, and doesn't go on an ego trip about it.

Trump trumps reason. I hope we do not face the lesson we deserve because I have children, but as stupid as stupid can get, it is deserved.
