Pharma

Just picked up my medications form Walgreens and had to $95 and $40 (dollars) respectively for drugs I paid $20 each just a month ago. Guess this will continue to happen so long as we are owned by big pharma because our leaders are bought and paid for, by the big corporations.
Time to vote for those who will work for the 99% not only for the rich and powerful.

1. While ACA was a tremendous improvement, we still have a very long ways to go.

It is a fucking crime some of the shit that goes on everywhere in the medical community, like your example.

At the same time there are so many wonderful professionals willing to help when you are sick or hurt.

2. Now now now - let's not get over our skis.

This is the kind of issue Hillary wants to address "incrementally" (i.e. never)
Don't want to ruffle any feathers over at Big Pharma !

4. Meanwhile, Big Pharma, Inc. is out to destroy non-toxic holistic health

...with ongoing attack campaigns...evidenced far and wide hereabouts and on the tube & intertubes.

Beware the toxic side effects of Big Pharma's trollage & propaganda campaigns...

8. I'd laugh along with you, Mal...but...

I've seen way too many people snowed by the corporate propaganda troll war to snuff out clean, non-toxic holistic health practices, and then ensnared by the slick mindtwist advertisements of Big Pharma, Inc. & Big AgriPharma, Inc. Too many good people are thereby suckered into the netherworld of outrageously exploitive and punishing Pill Prices and the Stupendous Array of Debilitating Side Effects that come from toxic PharmaChems. The war on holistic health is truly Orwellian, and I cannot muster so much as a snicker at how darkly perverse the whole scam is.

10. No surprise a chemtrail true believer would think so

The reality is the "holistic" market has the same profit motive, all the quackery, and almost no regulation. What could possibly go wrong, eh?

5. While Big Pharma attacks holistic health, they are raping the wallets of sick people

Big Pharma is out to crush competition from non-toxic holistic alternatives to their chemical concoctions and their massive toxic side effects.

6. Shop around for your medications

See what prices GoodRx.com can get you at alternative pharmacies.

Last year I had one medication that cost me $280 at my regular pharmacy. With GoodRx.com I paid $30 for it at CVS. You can pick up a one time coupon on the site or register and get a card which will continue to get you discounts. If you register and list your medications, you can quickly check on the best prices at the pharmacies in your area each month when it is time for refills.

It is a legitimate company. They don't spam you with ads. Another DUer recommended them a couple of years ago and I used them last year with no problems. (This year my insurance has better coverage and I don't need the GoodRx.com discounts.)

I've used them before and they saved me $60 on my Rx.
