Secretary of State: Jerry Springer
Department of Defense: Hulk Hogan
He would fill the empty SC seat with Judge Judy.
Who else would make up his cabinet?

(52,791 posts)All TV evidence to the contrary, Springer is a Democrat and a liberal.
MY nightmare is how he would treat congressmen and SC Judges that disagreed with him.. (probably with the same disdain and personal attacks that he launches at his current opponents)

(62,444 posts)While it is sort of a hypothetical along the line of "would you rather eat plain shit, or shit with corn in it", I don't know why anyone would prefer the alternatives.

(2,003 posts)Same for a President Sanders. Both men will face an obstructionist congress. Trump will have earned the enmity from fellow Republicans who did everything in their power to stop him. Sanders is unlikely to get many Democrats to go along with his socialist ideas.
President Hillary? I doubt much will change either. For the most part, it will be a continuation of the centrist, neoconservatism that we've been practicing for the past 27 years.
Now President Cruz and a Republican controlled congress? Stand the f*** back! This country will go so far right so fast our heads will be spinning. It'll be as if conservatives won the Powerball.

(3,208 posts)really sets back our "reputation" in the world. That hurts because Obama did a lot to make America look half way decent again after bush.

(35,076 posts)I really don't think Trump has the willpower to be president. It's not the same thing as being president of a company. Being potus does not make you the boss, it means you have 300 million bosses, will Trump really be OK with that? He has never had to truly share power or be accountable to someone else, and here he will have to be. Not only that, but he will have to share the reins of government with the House, the Senate, and the Supreme Court. Who can actually picture Trump sharing anything?
