Samantha Bee unmasks Kasich "so called moderate" claim...

(My apologies if this has already been posted...)

Bee took a closer look at Kasich's moderate answers on gay rights and abortion, then matched them up with his actions in Ohio. She found a mismatch, and apparently a carefully constructed one.

"Now, if you live outside Ohio, you don't hear much about Kasich's anti-choice record, because he hides his abortion restrictions in larger budget bills, where they won't be noticed ....

<Snip>

"So GOP, take a closer look at John Kasich, because while these other chumps make empty promises to do awful stuff, the so-called moderate gets awful stuff done."

... I know he was in Natl politics in 1999/2000, but I was in the middle of a bad divorce and was really distracted. And I didn't follow politics as closely then, anyway. Since 2010, I just knew he was the Gov of Ohio.

But our Ohio DUers have been pulling hard on the church bell rope since he got in the race, and I trust their judgment. Trump and Cruz have covered him with their crazy antics throughout the campaign. Glad someone is trying to get the word out to the general electorate.

He had the same plans as Scott Walker did in Wisconsin but citizens on Ohio managed to stop him.

Now things are so gerrymandered here in Ohio, that getting Democrats elected is very difficult for State offices or Congress.

... but also that they have kind of snubbed him in his presidential run. I wonder if that's more theater. He certainly seems their type of candidate, and I think he'll win Ohio (trmp's lead is small). Maybe he's the brokered candidate plan?

what I have been saying. The only difference in the republicon candidates is the way they articulate and spin their positions.
