A 'dispirited' Jeb Bush campaign seems close to pulling the plug

http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/2/19/1487788/-A-dispirited-Jeb-Bush-campaign-seems-close-to-pulling-the-plug

Donors, who poured millions into his campaign and super PAC, have stopped giving — one refusing a direct request to raise $1 million this week. Bush himself is hitting the phones, pleading for patience with his most influential supporters. And even some of his confidants are suddenly dejected after a dispiriting week capped off by South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley rejecting Bush in favor of Marco Rubio.

Of course, Jeb Bush has been Not Making Headway for a very long time now. What's different? Why is Jeb Bush calling his donors like a desperate man pleading with his bookie?...

So he's been a wreck of a candidate for half a year now, but were hoping that one "solid" night would turn things around.

They thought bringing in George W. Bush on Monday night would generate more enthusiasm and positive earned media than it did.

Pulling the plug? How ironic. (h/t CreekDog )

That HAS to chap his ass ROFLMAO

"They thought that bringing in George W. Bush, overseer of at least four separate national crises that will all appear in this nation's future history books, a conservative president whose name is still avoided in most polite conservative circles, would finally light a popular fire under the dumber brother's campaign."

He's someone who could easily pass himself off as a local librarian who goes home after work, feeds his cats, watches some tv after dinner and then drinks a glass of warm milk before going to bed.

and take the humiliation and exposure. Let him be on the stick end of that for a while. He was more than willing to put Michael Schiavo through it.

On a more pertinent note, maybe he can get his equally dumb brother Chimpy, a/k/a Whistle Ass, to jam a bugle up his fundament and fart "Taps" over the corpse of his barely noticeable campaign.

If you should suffer a campaign lasting less than 4 months, please take up watercolors with your brother.

Nothing but a free retirement fund at this point for the evil f**k family. They're in it for the free cash at this point and nothing more.

Unfortunately, the son just might feel the need to vindicate the Bush name and give it a try.

Can't really count on the memories of a lot of Americans, and some might even think George P. is somehow better than his father, forgetting that he's still a Bush.

I'd like to see the political demise of the Bush brand in my lifetime.

I keep hoping the old man, Poppy, is the one hold on actual influence, and with his death, that political dynasty turns to ash.
