The Latest: Cliven Bundy jailed upon arriving in Portland

Cliven Bundy, the father of wildlife refuge occupation leader Ammon Bundy, has been booked into jail after flying into the Portland airport.

Multnomah County Jail records show Cliven Bundy was booked into the lockup just before 11 p.m. Wednesday. No charges were listed and his projected release date was listed as unknown.

Bundy was at the center of a standoff in Nevada with federal officials in 2014 over use of public lands.

At first, I thought you meant the OP was heartless, and so I hurried to read his or her journal, and found that nothing could be further from the truth than that.

Yes, he/she had no DU Valentine heart and I am all for spreading the DU love to those who are making a difference here but are unrecognized for doing so. Especially low post count DUers who have a heart, deserve a heart.

Unfortunately I am all out of hearts. This OP poster got my last one. On fixed income SS, I distributed 20 of them. They went quickly, way too quickly. There are too damned many great posts from low post DUers to reward them all. I hope other DUers pick up the slack.

8. Not a bad plan

They had to stow precious away in their checked bags which meant there was no worries about this shitstain and his creme-de-la-dum "bodyguards" shooting themselves or more importantly anyone else. Had they pulled them off the plane at their origin it would have delayed everyone else. As an added bonus it saved transportation costs to Oregon, so now the whole Bundy inbred clan can occupy the same federal holding facility minus junior who is in the state pokey back in Nevada.

If they were prepared to arrest him on 2014-related charges at the airport, that implies(?) they've been ready for some time. Were they just waiting for him to leave his ranch?
