Bundle up and prepare for what could be a blizzard.
The National Weather Service in Valley, Nebraska, released a winter storm watch for Monday evening through Tuesday evening, and blizzard conditions are expected.
Meteorologist Bryon Miller said Omaha is predicted to get 8 inches or more of snow as well as wind speeds of 40 mph.
The primary hazards are the potential for heavy snow and blizzard conditions, Miller said.

(69 posts)I just visited the link your posted for Des Moines and it says 1-3" possible in the evening and sunny during the day. Doesn't sound like blizzard conditions, but of course weather can change.
I lived in Maine for 20 years and snow never bothered anybody if less than a foot was predicted (sometimes even when it was). I'd imagine the good folks in Iowa feel similarly, since they get harsh winter weather regularly, too.
But I hope they have a sunny day for the caucus goers nevertheless.
