Obama's favorability in Wisconsin is +14% today

His job approval in WI is +9%

He won Wisconsin by 13.9%. Romney favorability is 40% favorable, 47% unfavorable so Obama ought to win WI by double-digits again.

Obama is slightly more popular than Walker — IIRC, a bit better in job approval and a few points better in favorability


I don't know if Obama going to WI would necessarily help but he isn't exactly despised there


On the other hand, I can see the downside if it's in a losing effort. Presumably the WH political shop is competent to judge the shape of the race.

If Obama visits and Walker loses (after being expected to win) there's a good upside for the Prez. (Aside from the obvious benefit to America.)
