Freedom Park (and War Memorial) CLOSED Memorial Day Weekend

My husband took a ride yesterday wanting to go to the War Memorial, and this is what he found. He came back home very upset. We live in a very red area of Florida. I guess the Republicans didn't want to spend the money to pay County employees to work this holiday weekend, yet, they blab about Honor, and the Military, etc., but when it comes down to $'ssss, they don't want to pay employees to work on Holiday Weekends, even Memorial Day for War Memorials.
