They are hard-selling fear and war today. It's actually fascinating. They talked of turning away Syrian refugees (I expect them to be erecting concentration camps any moment now). They talk about an attack coming here in the U.S. They are selling new rights abdications, such as DiFi wanting access to encrypted Internet communications.
Brian Williams asked Christopher Dickey of The Daily Beast: "Do you believe this is the world's next war?"
"Well, I think that is the direction we're heading in, for sure, but some things you'd expect to happen haven't happened yet."
The propaganda is just relentless today.

(2,535 posts)We have already had at least two, 911 and Boston. While they were not IS, they are from the same mold.
Strange what the innocents minds can think of to get rid these scabs of humanity in times such as these. I suggest drawing them out with anger. More cartoons showing how they are cowards by beating a young child while having to wear a mask to hide from the adults. I like what John Oliver did.
then
maybe cooler heads should prevail and let whatever military wear them down. Maybe a little of both.
Just talking.

(4,458 posts)I already kind of know the script they're using...it's been used and recycled many times over the years. Dates/Names are essentially the only change.
Worthless info in the bigger picture, imo. Who needs that crap, anyway?

(58,785 posts)after another, because of shabby standards. Same for CNN and its "small talk" nonsense. I confess, I often miss being able to see what people are talking about, but not today, not this. Vying with Fox for who's #1 at destroying a nation that depends on an informed populace is just too disgusting -- and far more frightening to me than ISIS.

(13,835 posts)It is easy for them to spread fear and hate without a plan. They just want a war and it does not matter who it is against! "Hate all Islam religion and we will all be safe" is what I was hearing. Would someone tell them to stop drinking the cool aide?
