I can't stand that guy, but I don't exactly disagree.
Would it kill the DNC to get someone in there who is less hated and divisive? I'm not a fan of this 'dog whistle politics' stuff.
Washington (CNN)Donald Trump on Monday knocked the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee as a "highly neurotic woman."
Trump criticized the debate process of his own party speaking with Breitbart News on Siriux XM radio, before he leveled personal barbs at the leader of the opposing party, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
"This is a woman that is a terrible person," Trump said of Wasserman Schultz after calling her "crazy" and a "highly neurotic woman."
The DNC fired back in a statement to CNN, accusing Trump of making "misogynistic attacks."
"The Republican front-runner's misogynistic attacks are sadly representative of the GOP's outdated approach to women and the issues that affect them and their families," DNC spokeswoman Kaylie Hanson said. "Whether it's trying to get between them and their doctor, opposing equal pay for equal work, or using offensive language, the Republican Party is wrong for women."

You don't have to like Debbie Wasserman Schultz to stand up against Trumps statements.

(337 posts)I agree that GOP party is terrible for women, but DNC went dog whistle with the 'm' word. They could have developed a strong argument without trying to play the victim.
We don't need to stoop on their level, especially if our policies speak for themselves. But DWS loves to get in the mud...

(337 posts)But I understand that some of you feel the need to. It is DU after all.
Frankly, she has done the most damage in turning me away from the establishment...and it would be quite naive to believe I'm the only one who feels the same.
Our party would be stronger if we were honest, rather than blindly protective. It'd feel more democratic, less Stalinistic.

(113,063 posts)You sure do seem to smear DU, Democrats, and standard democratic policy issues whenever possible over the few months you've been posting.

(33,688 posts)As useless as a submarine with screen doors, a cheap and toadying conniver skewing the entire system to promote the candidate for whom she is a bought-and-paid-for shill, someone who sells out her own party by refusing to campaign against her Repig buddies, a sleazy and unethical bullshit artist?
All of the above, and without any question.
But that doesn't make her crazy.

There are plenty of Democrats and liberals who have been critical, that we should listen to this creep tell us that Wasserman Scwartz is neurotic and crazy is a misogynistic rant, that you don't disagree?
So you are saying the DNC chair is crazy and neurotic, since you don't disagree with Trump on that, instead of arguing issues you disagree with

(13,616 posts)I would not help Trump. This is a case of some people just begin wrong no matter what happens. Trump is an entree no side dish or dessert can make edible.
BTW, I would not call her crazy, just incompetent and greedy, but then, so is Trump.
