Watching Time after Time on TCM

The HG wells character said he didn't believe in Religion because it complicates things then he said he was looking forward to the future where there would be a Socialism Utopia.

The movie was made in 1979 before Reagan destroyed this country.

Also there were so many different banks shown in the city. All of them are gone. Now there are only a few small banks in the city and a Citibank, Wells Fargo and Chase dominate banking in the city.

And miss the good 'ol days (at least for some).

We were making pretty good progress before Reagan derailed things.
