Was reading a classified ad this morning of a local girl who graduated from community college and wanted to sell her books. Her vocabulary and sentence structure was so "horrid" that it made me wonder how the hell she ever graduated?

Oh well...we are the land of the easy life I guess...easy to get a job flipping burgers. Easy to get into the army so you get some good bennies.

Easy to just lay back and be American, which is, of course, something to be proud of.

We're too damned easy.

That's not to say we don't have a lot of very hard workers here. We do. We just don't focus enough on education.
