If there was such an attack on US systems, the source would be fairly easily identified--not to mention obvious, as Russia would be the only party with such capability.
Basically, Russia would be committing an act of war against US forces for very little gain.

By whose authority is the US in Syria?
Assad didn't invite us (although I'm sure he doesn't mind us bombing ISIS).
We didn't declare war.
There's no UN resolution.
