Carolinas, DC and Central Pennsylvania look to have a very unwelcomed visitor coming

?quality=100&strip=all

That ain't looking pretty for sure!

I'm from Central PA and when those Hurricanes head up that way it usually means nasty flooding. I survived Agnes back in 1972 and a few years back the leftovers of Hurricane Lee caused a serious mess in the region.

It brought some nice waves to Fla West Coast. Me and some buddies got our pictures in Surfing magazine. I surfed Hurricane Juan too, in the 80s.

It's a shame---so many fall festivals scheduled. Oh well, let's just hope everyone will be safe. That's what matters the most.

I live in College Park, MD, and I have just begun to recover from two flooding problems (one last year, one earlier this year). These combined have cost me thousands of dollars, and I have been petrified of losing my home due to at first the ability to repair the damage and secondly to recover from the debt I have incurred for repairs. Neither was covered by my insurance. The cost has been in the thousands of dollars. So here I am, just on the cusp of having a chance to get my life back and this news comes. I am not sure how much we will be impacted, but like you, I am petrified.

Stay safe.

Sam
