Carly Fiorina: The Little Train That Couldn't

"Last night was a beginning. As of 4 p.m. yesterday, only 40% of Republican voters had ever heard my name," she said. "I have the lowest name identification of anyone in the race because I'm not a professional politician and I'm not a celebrity."

Fellow Republican candidate Rick Perry praised Fiorina's negotiating skills during the earlier debate, alluding to her experience as the first woman to lead one of the top 20 U.S. companies.

But Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, speaking Friday on "New Day," responded to Fiorina's attacks on Hillary Clinton in the debate by slamming her record while at the helm of HP.

"Fiorina's comments are rich coming from someone who almost drove a Fortune 500 company into the ground, who was fired as a result, whose stock dropped by 50% when she was CEO," she said. "This is a woman who doesn't have the track record of managing a large organization and now she's running for President of the United States?"

And very un-presidential. I guess it's okay if you're some right wing shock jock but for a person seeking the highest office on the planet it's pretty embarrassing.

She makes Nurse Rached look like a cutie. I don't know if it's just her natural look or if it;s a cultivated look but I would hate to be in a prison hospital and have her be my nurse. I know looks are not everything, but I have to think her mean looks are one of the reasons for her popularity with the psychopaths.

It also ruins your chances of being a good president. I can't recall a single 'businessman' who was a good president. In fact, I would be willing to bet that most of the historical depressions and recessions happened during administrations headed by 'businessmen.'

I think that theory applies here. The more people you fire, the more pallid you become whether firing people bothers you or not.

said Carly won the debate(s) and they wished she had been on the main stage last night. Reading her resume is nightmarish; she's a bitter person and the only thing she seems able to do is slam Hillary.

2 prominent Republican women of similar ages. Both have been the CEO of HP, one still is (the post-split HP enterprise). Both laid off many workers during their time, one still does. Both lost in California for their respective races they entered, Senator to Boxer and Governor to Brown. I know there is a physical difference, but have you ever seen Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman in the same room. Too much similarity to be spooky.
