The RNC said what???? WTF????

The Republican National Committee issued a strong rebuke of Donald Trump’s mocking of Sen. John McCain’s military service Saturday, saying his comments “have no place in our party or country.”

“He was a war hero because he was captured,” Trump sarcastically told host Frank Luntz during the 2015 Family Leadership Summit. “I like people who weren’t captured.”

RNC Chief Strategist and Communications Director Sean Spicer released a statement hours later that read:

"Senator McCain is an American hero because he served his country and sacrificed more than most can imagine. Period. There is no place in our party or our country for comments that disparage those who have served honorably.”

There is no place in our country for someone who says something we don't like. Perhaps that whole 'free speech' thing was thought up by those same Communists who somehow made us include separation of church and state.

13. Well, Kerry came back without being captured, so maybe the RNC feels he hasn't sacrificed enough?

YES THAT WAS LOADED WITH SARCASM

The plain fact is that the GOP always lets people sling outrageous comments, and only acts when it is in the party's interest to reign them in. The GOP has no more morals or priciples, only a set of orthopraxy credentials to which lipservice must be paid by the politicians, and which must be strictly enforced in ways that help the corporate masters of the party or pander to the reactionary radicals on its right wing.

Your forceful words are welcome. Could you please let John Kennedy, George McGovern, Jimmy Carter, John Kerry, Tammy Duckworth, and Max Cleland, know of this new-found respect Republicans have for those who have served honorably? It's a little late in a couple of those cases, but it would be nice to see that your heart is truly in the right place at last.
