An explanation and apology
Saw a post that said that Omaha Steve had been offended and was upset. I took offense because somebody offended Omaha Steve, not only because he had some health problems, but because he handles contributions for candidates, and posts the most wonderful and interesting posts.
It wasn't up to me to explain things I didn't fully know about, but it made me mad anyway. Did not respond in the "Omaha Steve" thread because I did not want to make it longer because of chitchat.....never expected the response.
Sorry if I frightened any of you, but I am marveled at how we got his back!!
I think it's over now and peace has been restored. Some of the cooler heads in the "other" camp may have prevailed, and there are a few very nice and helpful people there.
And it looks like Omaha is back in business. Thank you all for letting him know how you feel. (sorry misanthrope, didn't know what to say)
