The reason some white people claim it's not racism.

They believe there is a danger that black people will rise up against them in a massive revolt and win and then make white people their slaves.

So SHHHHHH!!!!! Shush!

Best to not stir them up.

I guess I needed a chuckle before bed.

The type of "rising up" that needs to be done is economically. Bringing black people as a whole out of poverty and having a level playing field is what will fix this problem.

Sending more jobs overseS with questionable trade bills and the ever increasing immigration of low wage earners makes it even more difficult for black people to break out of the poverty cycle.

I've met whites in the South that have actual nightmares of this happening.

but basically it is a fear that they will eventually be treated like they have treated others.

It's behind racism and misogyny and many other fears toward minorities or the oppressed.
