What the very old and the very young can offer to one another...

What a wonderful idea. I do hope that it catches on.

"A person is a person because of people"

"There's no denying that nursing homes are not the most pleasant places to be. There's constantly talk in the news of mistreatment, mismanagement, and mishandling of patients at various homes around the country. Couple that with the looming sense of dread always in the air, and you have a negative atmosphere. With more and more Americans facing retirement in the next 25 years, it's no wonder they're all hesitant to end up in a home.

What if I told you there was a place where the retired and the young come together to bring more joy into their lives? This hypothetical place would let the elderly leave their empty houses and help mold young minds. It would also change how we treat nursing homes and the elderly.

Luckily, such a place is very real, and it's changing the way we look at nursing homes and educating our young minds for the better.

Putting a preschool in a nursing home actually sounds like a brilliant idea. I wish we could make this happen on a large scale. Doing so would send ripples through society and make the world a better place."
