but I'm sure he referred to it as his "cabin."

It sure is ugly, obviously decorated by somebody who had a bunch of western kitsch to get rid of in a hurry.

isn't he one of the four who was hoodwinked/forced to relinquish his share of the empire to the two sociopaths who hold all the cads and cash for the r party?

There was a book out last year about how Chas. and David forced the other two to relinquish their holdings. This one, however, is no shrinking violet and has been a thorn in the side of CO residents and had attempted to take over public land access that surrounds the "ranch" which was a self styled wild west type of resort for his wealthy buddies but didn't want the commoners to be able to get within miles of it by closing off public land to public access.

So now the wild west resort for the upper crust is up for sale... probably because he couldn't keep the public off the public land around it. Just as well.

but yes, he was diddled out of being able to run the companies with Charles and David. However, William contributes to the same fascist causes Charles and David do. Although he was ejected from the BOD of Koch Industries, he still holds considerable stock and that generates the bulk of his vast wealth.

The eldest brother, Fred Jr, is listed as a "collector," mostly of rare books which he has donated lavishly to libraries. He appears to be relatively apolitical, Daddy's namesake refusing to follow in Daddy's goose steps. He is a billionaire, also.

Actually he was mentioned on politics1 as a possible candidate for the Kansas Senate - running as a Democrat. That was about ten years ago.

LOTS of wood and antlers. Very brown.

You're not missing much.

Lovely views, though.

with all that money he can't have a decent decorator with any taste at all?

That is one of the ugliest rooms I have ever seen.

for billionaires to need more cabins around their property for privacy..they never seem to
like people much. Hey, stay over, we have a cabin for you, not enough room in the main house.

On second thought, the cabins may be for the "help".

Obscene, nonetheless.

The machines are pristine, and he's kind of pudgy. I doubt he's ever stepped into it. It's so huge; how many people are there working out at one time? I don't really see the Kochs as big basketball players, maybe the court is for their kids or grandkids or something.

The kitchen is very... brown. I like the appliances though. I might be willing to do unspeakable things for that fridge. But I love to cook and my current fridge is euphemistically called "apartment sized" which I suppose sells better than "pathetically dinky." So I suppose if I ever get a normal sized one, I might not lust after the industrial sized one quite so much.
