Okay, this was just posted to my facebook wall by someone I'm trying to bring 'into the light', so to speak. I've already responded, but I'm curious how others would answer this. My own response was worded to keep in mind that others will see the post. Given that same consideration, how would you respond?

13. This is something my brother would send me.

He went from having a nickname of "Happy" to "Bubba" after he married his 2nd wife.

I could not believe the right wing talk and hatred from him...He hates Obama so much because Obama is black.

I finally stopped responding to his racist emails......after trying to have some dialog by sending links, snope links and even replying to "all"... I recall one email person he sent the same racist hateful email responding to it by asking him to take him off his list.

It is sad that America has come to this.

I've received similar crap. I respond that such things are hateful and insane in a civil society and have nothing at alll to do with the issues. If you still believe you can bring this person "'into the light', so to speak," you can tell them you are all about issues, not hateful right wing propoganda.
