Come on DUers! Let's show how generous we can be
The #Pizza4Equality fund has become stagnant. This is such a worthy cause. True Colors, a 501 (c) organization, so donations are tax deductible, helps homeless LGBT kids. It doesn't just house them, it helps repair family ties, it educates, it helps people understand what these kids go through. It's a fabulous organization that has been around since the 80s.
The warm fuzzies that seemed to be happening a couple of years ago has turned into hatred again against the LGBT community. 40% of homeless kids identify as part of the LGBT community. Unfortunately, the backlash to marriage equality has caused the religious right to rear it's ugly head against these kids in a new onslaught of persecution.
Let's show the right wing nut jobs we can raise as much for love as they can for hate
