Bullied transgender teen dies in apparent suicide

Not a repost.

http://www.lgbtqnation.com/2015/04/bullied-transgender-teen-dies-in-apparent-suicide/

A 16-year-old transgender teen from Fallbrook, Calif., who spoke on YouTube about being bullied at high school has died of an apparent suicide.

Family members confirmed that Taylor Alesana took her life on April 2, but details surrounding her death were not revealed, reports KGTV in San Diego.

In a video posted online in November, Taylor reached out to other transgender youth to document her own experiences and encourage others like her.

“The biggest piece of advice I could give to someone who’s transgender and is struggling – ‘you’re becoming yourself,’” Taylor proclaimed in the video, while also acknowledging that she’s “lost friends — tons of friends — and it’s been hell.”

A male supremacist culture that says women are second class, at best.

RIP Taylor, you were WAY TOO good for this world! It still seems to be full of base animals pretending to be humans. 2015 and we still torture people to death, just in a much more sinister way than crucifixion.

For some reason this reminded me of older widows in India who are threatened & often killed by others, even their relatives out of poverty and greed. Some, the lucky ones flee to a religious village where they receive minimal shelter.

human beings are so unenlightened about differences, sexual, racial, gender. This is a testimony to evil intent on the part of those who drove Taylor to this extreme. I do truly hope one day their conscience kicks in and that they feel the pain they caused Taylor. Taylor had a right to explore her world as she saw fit, as long as she was not harming anyone else with her choices, of which, evidently, she wasn't. It was her goddamn right!!!!! I am getting so fed up with ignorance, bigotry and hatred.

Returning to the closet to stay safe. Who did she harm by being herself? The world's sensibilities aren't sensible.

THEY will continue to kill, unless good people eventually silence them with change through justice.
