So many injustices ignite a spark of rage inside us. Perhaps this is more common in people who grew up surrounded by or immersed in violence. Either way it seems to me that it's something we should try to notice and work to change within ourselves.

Just a small reminder, motivated by my personal reaction to a particularly triggering thread.

Our society seems to get confused because "passive" and "pacifist" sound so similar, and the assumption is that pacifism is a do-nothing sort of philosophy. And that just isn't the case.
