Conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia talked to a Swiss radio network, Radio Television Suisse, about the recent release of the Senates torture report to cite hypothetical situations which would justify torture. None of which could be compared to the ACTUAL situation in which torture and object rape were actually used to gain information.
Scalia said:
"Listen, I think its very facile for people to say, Oh, torture is terrible. You posit the situation where a person that you know for sure knows the location of a nuclear bomb that has been planted in Los Angeles and will kill millions of people. You think its an easy question? You think its clear that you cannot use extreme measures to get that information out of that person?"

No wonder this country is so fucked up, eh? This guy is a constitutional judge and he's making excuses for lawless torture?
Impeachment would be too good for him, but I say we try him.
