I have to give Governor Kasich kudos
I was watching him on FAUX and Bill Hemmer asked him if he runs for president how would he defend himself in the Republican primaries against charges he opted in to take money from the ACA to expand Medicaid in his state. He gave a great answer. He said he's not about defending himself but that it was the right thing to provide medical coverage to the poor and "those in the shadows". He also invoked the Bible in that Jesus admonished us to take care of the poor, the widows, and the orphans.
Boom...
That stance will get him crucified in the primaries but he earned my respect.
