Is it possible to have a false negative Ebola test result?

If the testing itself is suspect, then there's a reason for concern.

If the test works, then they need to leave this lady alone.

Kent Brantley tested negative the first time. He didn't have a suffient viral load early on for the test to detect it.

However, since she is exhibiting no symptoms now, testing would be a waste of time.
