The burden is on the open carrier to prove differently, as far as I'm concerned. The laws authorizing that sort of armed public intimidation need to be done away with. The combovers are designed to pretend one isn't getting all fleshy up there on top. Cats who just like a ponytail aren't doing a Donald Trump, they just like their remaining hair to be long. I'd do that if it were practical.

Growing it out doesn't work well with seriously curly hair: a 'fro looks really weird when your hairline is halfway back towards one's occiput. Like having a cliff sculpture on top of my head.

Fuck it, I keep it short these days. My freak flag flies in other ways.
