The sexist overtones are over the top. Creepiest political ad ever, IMO

The tone and the overtones describe them perfectly.

(14,177 posts)Do Republicans actually believe we only care about birth control? Srsly are they that deaf?
There are a lot of other things I care about.
-raising minimum wage
- the environment
- not getting into more stupid wars
- reducing the amount of money that goes to the MIC
- policies that help women spend more time with their infant children
while still retaining the right to go back to work.
- letting people marry the person of their choice (not minors, or animals, if they want to marry a lamp fine)
- free college for at least two years or technical school
- free school lunches for everyone the amount parents pay is only a fraction of the cost anyway even at full price
- bring back the arts and gym classes, and after school stuff
- more parks
- more walking biking trails
- tax breaks for people who bike or bus to work
- higher EIC payments
- bring back the WPA
probably lots more that's just off the top of my head.

And I'm so freaking sick of the "Taking away my doctor" crap. Doctors decide which of the many many many plans out there they're willing to put up with. Any time you get a different health care plan, you have a different mix of doctors to choose from.
I've been through the bs of having to find a new doctor because the workplace changed the plan. It's not fun. But it is NOT something Barack Obama has done all by himself.
I know that's an actress doing a very good job of saying her lines, but I wish no one would ever be willing to be in any sort of deceptive political ad. Of course, that would mean a good 90% of all political ads would then go away.
I will say that not owning a TV means I never see stuff like this unless I decide to click on some link, and I think I won't even do that anymore.
