Visiting “Angels?”

Listening to today's Rush Limbaugh Show to keep up on the latest conservative lying points, I heard an advertisement for Visiting Angels elder care franchises. I started to wonder, what kind of people would want their aging parents cared for by a company whose franchise owner heard about it on hate radio?

Checking around at the company website, I found an employment application for people who are interested in doing the actual work of caring for your elderly parents. At the top of the form they are asked if they heard about the company on the radio and are given check boxes for the shows that Visiting Angels advertises on.

The six choices are:

* Michael Medved
* Mike Gallagher
* Rush Limbaugh
* Bill Bennett
* Dennis Prager
* Sean Hannity

Do you want your parents cared for by gullible, simple-minded, people who fall for hateful right-wing bullshit? People who make minimum wage while supporting policies that result in all gains going to the the top 1%? And, worst of all, who might tune the radio to these shows while caring for your loved ones?

Here is the web page for the application, in case anyone is interested in working for this company: http://www.visitingangels.com/employment

and the effect on our most vulnerable population has been substantial.

Those in urban areas really do not understand the dazzlingly horrid impact that these shows have had on the culture.

Why democrats have not fought back harder against this brainwashing is really unfortunate.

Thank you for your work and post.

Particularly knowing they choose to advertise when other advertisers are leaving in droves.
