Al Sharpton's Eulogy at Micharl Brown's funeral today was excellent

“No community in America would tolerate an 18-year-old boy laying in the street for four-and-a-half hours and we won’t tolerate it either,” Sharpton said.

O/T: I've heard some African Americans say that they intend to get out the vote in 2014 for a representative that will support what they want, and not go along with what ever the Democratic/Republican 2016 President says until they get what they want...justice. How do you think that will work out. (it sounds like a democratic tea party to me).

has been one reason or another why people will see themselves as fitting this description. There is a lot of abuse, harassment and suppression happening in this country. When people hear what Ferguson MO residents are doing about it in their town - others will follow.

For example, the Missouri Senator that got tear-gassed. They should find and run more people like her locally.

If they really want to effect change, they need to start locally then think nationally.

associated with the 'let us pray' versus the 'let us prey' movements across the globe. I know the use of religion as liberation theology. That said no one would call me an Al Sharpton fan.
As you noted he did speak the truth and I liked that.

My son asked me what I was watching, as I was testifying like I was in church. I don't lie to my children... We just had a discussion I didn't want to have, but it ain't about me... For real.

It's why negroes in the Old South were left twisting on trees. Be scared nigga.

It's a cancer on the body politic.

That's why this wound has to be treated harshly, not just bandaged up The full weight of the Federal Government should be brought to bear on Ferguson's PD.
