ask yourself this...if you believe the Democratic Party as it exists today is a far-left liberal socialist organization, please name for me the last time something as big as FDR's NEW DEAL or LBJ's MEDICARE was put in place by Democrats in the last 47 years....

The fact of the matter is that the current Democratic Party has morphed into the Republican Party of the 1950's and the current Republican Party has moved soo far to the right they've fallen off the table.

From that vantage point, everything that ever gets proposed is considered a left-wing proposal - even proposals that have been historically - Republican proposals.

There is no "left" in America. At least not a "left" with any sort of power to sway politicians.

There are the views of the 1950's Republican Party held by the current Democratic Party and there is the extremist views of the current Republican Party held by the likes of Paul Ryan.

Where and what are the "big government" ideas being pushed by the Democratic Party?

Medicare For All?
A 2nd WPA?
GI Bill for everybody?
Repeal of Taft-Hartley?
Repeal of NAFTA?

I see active members defending everything from extra-judicial killings and indefinite detentions to mandates and mass teacher firings. You've got pro-war and/or NRA democrats. Alternately, propose anything significantly to the left and you'll find folks immediately willing to declare it unworkable, unreasonable, unachievable, or just plain undesirable.

The tents gotten so big I don't think anyone is excluded, unless you mean far leftists. They're drug addled, sanctimonious, and have retarded ideas.
